Vanilla pod substitute

I've found a great substitute for vanilla pods in my local Waitrose. It's a product called Vanilla Bean Paste made by Taylor & Colledge. The paste contains vanilla seeds so I've been using it instead of vanilla pods. The jar may seem expensive (£3.99) but vanilla pods are costly items themselves. The jar will go a lot further for the money.
