American pancakes are a breakfast favorite all around the world.
250 ml flour
1 tea spoon salt
1 tea spoon sugar
175 ml milk
1. Sift flour, salt and sugar into a bowl. Add the eggs and mix in. Add milk slowly while mixing. You can use a whisk if you prefer. Stir or whisk until the mixture becomes a smooth batter. For best results, allow to stand for up to 1 hour in the fridge.
2. Grease and heat a small fry pan on a high temperature. Pour batter onto fry pan to cover the base of the pan. Cook until pancake is golden brown on the underside. Carefully flip onto the other side and cool until golden brown.
3. Eat each pancake immediately or stack in a preheated oven at 180°C to keep warm.
Serve with the topping of your choice: Maple syrup, golden syrup, bananas, ice cream, cream, jam etc.
